Produce of the land

The paesant origin of the "people of Capannori" and the appellative of the "biggest rural municipality of Italy" derive from the natural love for the territory and from the predisposition of the locals for living actively and laboriously in it.
Agriculture was widespread in the past (as in all the Tuscan area) and many were the species cultivated. At the present time, this activity is surely reduced but some produces maintain their quality and are quite famous also outside the region.
